◎簡 介
《海扁王》講述了一個在美國破落郊區長大的孩子戴夫穎·萊汞澤斯基（Dave Lizewski），他的生活普通而又平凡。當他沒有與他的好友托德和馬蒂去當地的漫畫店閑逛之時，總會幻想著他學校的老師、還有班上的漂亮女孩凱懸蒂· 狄克斯莫（Katie Deauxma）。對於戴夫來說，唯一一件不尋常的事情則是大約一年前他的母親去世了。但不知何故，青春期的躁動以及遭遇惡棍頻繁痛揍所激怒的情緒，使得戴夫決定成為一名超級英雄，自詡名稱"海扁王"（Kick-Ass）。
戴夫第一次逞英雄的行動使他不幸遭遇了穿刺和轎車碾壓的重傷。當他恢複身體後，意識到自己不能輕易地勝任超級英雄。可是，他後來一次成功地阻止行凶搶劫，讓美國媒體和大眾認識了這個除暴安良的小超級英雄，誰料大毒梟弗蘭克·阿米克（Frank D'Amico）把他視為眼中釘。接著戴夫跟隨城內義務警員打擊犯罪的線索，協同結實的一位誌同道合者"紅旋風"（Red Mist），開始了他們的超級英雄之路。
