Celine Dion 簡介

席琳·迪翁(Celine Dion)，1968年3月31日出生於加拿大魁北克省的查裏曼大帝鎮，有史以來最偉大的歌手之一。上有八個姐姐五個哥哥，席琳排行最小。父母親均是音樂家，經營著一家小型俱樂部，童年時，小席琳經常和兄弟們在這裏演唱。這些初期經曆，為席琳今後的現場表演打下了一定的基礎。

12歲時，小席琳用母語法語譜寫了一首歌並送到一個唱片公司，在那裏贏得了頗受人尊敬的音樂經紀人René Angéli的注意， Angéli很快意識到席琳將會是未來的世界級明星，並決定抵押了他自己的房子籌集資金來為席琳製作第一張專輯。

1991年，由於為迪斯尼動畫片《美女與野獸》(Beauty and the Beast)演唱同名歌曲《美女與野獸》(Beauty and the Beast)，已經蜚聲海內外的席琳在美國名聲大噪，為此她獲得了格萊美和奧斯卡大獎，並從此登上一個又一個事業高峰。

發行於1996年的專輯《鍾愛你》(Falling Into You)讓她站到了流行樂壇的一個新高度，成為當年最暢銷的音樂專輯，在全球範圍內銷售了2千5百多萬張。

1999年，席琳暫時離開了自己喜歡的音樂事業，專心經營自己的家庭。2002年重返舞台，發行了又一張大賣專輯。2003年，她和有關方麵簽署合作協議，在賭城拉斯韋加斯的凱撒宮開始了為期3年的協議演唱。
