It seems that some chatters misread my message “ My little one gets all As” a little bit. First of all, my little sweetie has math problem all the time since first grade and some teachers believed that she has mental problem in math except her great daddy and mommy. She does not just get a low score, but she fails every time in quiz. A couple of times, she even says to me “ Daddy, I am stupid.” My heart is broken when I heard her saying this. As a father, I am worrying about her self-confidence and self-esteem because of her math though I am very confident that she is brilliant and a great sweetie. It is true that No Worry worries about nothing, but his little girls. And that’s why I come here and try to learn from you great dads and moms.
Second, No Worry never yells at no one once No Worry in America, including my lovely wife, let alone my two beautiful angels. And no one dares to yell at me either. Remember No Worry always has a big smile on his face though he may be thinking to sue you at that moment. Look, a mad and rude person cannot call others ladies and gentlemen when he was furious on the commons of “ mental problem” with his little love one. As matter of fact, to make the teachers and principles easy and comfortble, I joked with them “ No bad kids, but bad teachers….”
But as a father, I should also tell them what I think in such formal meetings. Remember it is not a party or dinner, but a teacher and parent conference meeting. With a nice and professional dress, a great gentleman manner, deep and serious tone and reasonable and logical arguments and statements, you’ve got to listen to what No Worry says to you. Otherwise, you know you will have problem or may be in trouble. No kidding about it, especially about the issues of my two lovely angels.
Yes, I am very aggressive. However, it is business-to-business, nothing personal. I guess that’s why we and the teachers and principles work very well together to help my little daughter. We together finally achieved our goal. My lovely girl catches up and is very good at math now. The teachers are happy and so are we, my wife and me. You can see my little one is very confident in math now. Believe it or not, the teachers and we are very good friends and we often email to each other.
