《創世紀》

1. 上帝托夢於Abimelech，叫他不得與莎拉同房 （創世紀 20：3-7）

天主在夢中來對阿彼默肋客說：「為了你取來的那個女人你該死，因為她原是有夫之婦。」

阿彼默肋客尚未接近她，於是說：「我主，連正義的人你也殺害嗎？那男人不是對我說過「她是我的妹妹嗎？」連她自己也說「他是我的哥哥。」我做了這事，是出於心正手潔呀!」

天主在夢中對他說：「我也知道，你是出於心正做了這事，所以我阻止了你犯罪得罪我，也沒有讓你接觸她。現在你應將女人還給那人，因為他是一位先知，他要為你轉求，你才可生存；倘若你不歸還，你該知道：你以及凡屬於你的，必死無疑。」

2. 雅各的天梯 （創世紀 28： 12-）

雅各枕著石頭睡覺做夢，夢見天梯，天使們利用梯子上去下來，天主又現身，向他許諾，賜福。

天梯的含義，不同派別有不同的解釋。比如猶太教認為，天梯象征著猶太人在彌賽亞之前將要遭受的流亡。基督教認為新約《約翰福音》與此相印證，是上帝與人類的聯結。甚至伊斯蘭教也認為雅各是先知，天梯與穆罕默德夜行登霄有關。

3. 為了證明自己的畜群是正當得來的，雅各用夢來證明，說是上帝同意的。 （創世紀 31:10）

“During the mating of the flock I once had a dream in which I looked up and saw that the male goats that leaped upon the flock were striped, speckled, and mottled. 11 Then the angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am!’ 12 And he said, ‘Look up and see that all the goats that leap on the flock are striped, speckled, and mottled; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.

4. But God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream by night, and said to him, “Take heed that you say not a word to Jacob, either good or bad.”（創世紀 31:24）

拉班追趕雅各，眼看就要追上了，但上帝出手幹預了。他在拉班的夢裏發出警告：不許傷害雅各，好的壞的，什麽都不準說。

5. 約瑟夢到他跟哥哥們都在田中捆麥子，但是他的麥捆站了起來，而哥哥們的麥捆全圍著他的麥捆，且下拜。（創世紀 37:5-7）

6. 約瑟的第二個夢。他夢到太陽和月亮並十一顆星辰向他下拜。（創世紀37:9）太陽，父親。月亮，母親。11顆星辰，11個兄弟。

7. 司酒的夢 （創世紀40: 9-13）

司酒長就將自己的夢講給若瑟聽，對他說：

若瑟對他說：「這夢的意義就是：三根枝子是指的三天。 三天以內，法郎要高舉你，恢複你的職位：你仍將杯放在法郎的手中，像先前作他司酒時一樣；

8. 司廚的夢 （創世紀40: 16-19）

司廚長見他解得吉祥，便對若瑟說：「我也作了一夢，夢見在我的頭上有三筐白餅。 最上麵的筐內，有為法郎預備的各種食物，有飛鳥來啄食我頭上筐裏的食物。」

 若瑟回答說：「這夢的意義就是：三筐是指的三天。三天以內，法郎要高舉你，將你懸在木架上，飛鳥要來啄食你的肉。」

9. 法老的夢 （創世紀 41:1-7）

過了兩年，法郎作了一夢，夢見自己站在尼羅河畔。看見從尼羅河中上來了七隻母牛，色美體肥，在蘆葦中吃草。隨後，從尼羅河中，又上來了七隻色醜體瘦的母牛，站在尼羅河岸上靠近那些母牛身旁。這些色醜體瘦的母牛，竟將那七隻色美體肥的母牛吞了下去；法郎便驚醒了。他又睡下，作了一個夢，夢見在一根麥莖上，生出了七枝又肥又美的麥穗；隨後，又發出了七枝又細弱，而又為東風吹焦了的麥穗。這些細弱的麥穗竟將那七枝又肥又實的麥穗吞了下去。法郎驚醒了，原是一場夢。

After two whole years, Pharaoh dreamed that he was standing by the Nile, 2 and there came up out of the Nile seven sleek and fat cows, and they grazed in the reed grass. 3 Then seven other cows, ugly and thin, came up out of the Nile after them, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the Nile. 4 The ugly and thin cows ate up the seven sleek and fat cows. And Pharaoh awoke. 5 Then he fell asleep and dreamed a second time; seven ears of grain, plump and good, were growing on one stalk. 6 Then seven ears, thin and blighted by the east wind, sprouted after them. 7 The thin ears swallowed up the seven plump and full ears. Pharaoh awoke, and it was a dream.
