Fluffy Waffle with almond flour (makes 3 waffles).

用杏仁粉做的waffle又鬆又香, 還是 low-carb. 我做的不放糖,因為吃的時候要澆上楓糖漿。要不會太甜。我家小廚喜歡吃的時候再加上whipped cream. 

Waffle batter:

3/4 cup ground almond (grind whole almonds in a food processor or blender until it is fine.),

1/2 cup of all purpose flour,

1/2 tsp baking powder,

1/2 tsp salt,

1/4 tsp baking soda,

1/2 cup milk add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice),

2 eggs, 

3 tablespoons melted butter.

Blueberry compote ingredients: Blueberries, maple syrup. ( can use any berry you like)

1. Mix dry ingredients first, then mix all wet ingredients in a separate container.
Fold wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

2. Making Berry compote: in a small sauce pan, add berries and maple syrup, cook until juice is thickened.  I prefer use the frozen wild blueberries.
