When people encounter with danger such  as big animal,first response is to fight or flight. The fear of dangerous animal is real. In stock market,we have the same reaction. We do not control the market. The danger is real. The only thing you can do,use a rule either to fight when you think you can win or flight when it is real danger. The technical analysis is a way to fight when you find a less dangerous situation and get into the battleground.
