Oct 11。昨日，沿12號scenic Drive，橫跨Vermont。今晨北上，直奔Northern Mountains景區。沿高緯度山間環道，飽覽秋色(the Northern Mountains loop starts and ends in Stowe, VT, and is ranked the #1 fall foliage peeping destination in the entire United States)。未上山前，沿途所見，秋色平平，稍失所望。待驅車登山，漸入佳境。絕妙處，漫山遍野，橙黃紅紫，明快亮麗，溫暖愜意。步入林間，金枝炫目，玉葉鋪甸，令人眼花撩亂。其境之勝，抑或冠絕北美(?)；其情之逸，驚羨溢於言表者，誠然不可名狀矣。
