Kanye 對曆史的看法。提出一個問題，我們每個人上學，都上過“曆史課”，但是都沒有上過“未來課”，需要那麽多曆史嗎？難道生活僅僅是對過去的模仿（simulation)嗎？這讓人想起中國的宮廷劇思維，中國文化好像已經形成了一個“模子”，任何一個人，都是以前的模子倒出來的一個樣品，沒有靈魂，不是一個活的人。提起林彪，就想起韓信，等等。

Elon Musk 也有自己原創的驅動力，每天都必須有值得讓我們起床的事情，生活不應該僅僅是解決困難，而應該是主動的探索和啟示。

實際上他們的生活讓人這提出一個根本問題：到底什麽是活著，活著到底是什麽意思？當你擺脫曆史，直麵當下的時候，生活到底是什麽？

前不見古人，後不見來者，念天地之悠悠，必然要“愴然而涕下”嗎？

想起禪師的話：宋·釋道原《景德傳燈錄》卷十：“師示一偈曰：‘百丈竿頭不動人，雖然得入未為真，百尺竿頭須進步，十方世界是全身。"

無根而活著，是需要勇氣的，嗎？

人的根本在於自由意誌，自由意誌的根本就是有“自己 最深的 目的”。

Elon Musk:

• In terms of motivation, there needs to be things to get up in the morning.
• life can't just be about solving problems, otherwise, what's the point?
• there's got to be things that people find inspiring, things that make life worth living.
