咱家的餐桌/飲食進化史。

偶然整理以前刻錄的照片,覺得每年做的菜也是見證我和LG一路走來的編年史。看著它們,想起自己是怎樣從一個嬌生慣養,笨手笨腳卻自以為很厲害的小女孩,慢慢成為一個雖然手藝仍然不精,但一直努力嚐試用心生活的人妻。

我和LG從2002年開始date.我從03年開始為他下廚。雖然我們一直分居兩地,他上他的班,我念自己的學位,但隻要有長周末和節假日,或者寒暑假不回國的時候,我都會每天做菜給他吃。在看這段“進化史”之前,我先發幾個近期做的。免得大家一看見我以前做得菜,倒了胃口,直接點"back", 哈哈。

-----2003年 :那時LG租的studio很小,根本放不下餐桌。這是當時的廚房,我們就在吧台上吃飯。

隻要和LG在一起的時候,我每天中午做3個菜,晚上做4個菜。LG什麽都好,就是不吃剩菜,每頓必須吃新鮮的,而且不能重樣。那年我剛過20,之前我媽從來不讓我進廚房,拿刀子。(因為是學樂器的,我媽怕割傷了手,不能練琴)在學校都是吃Cafeteria. 做成這個德行,大家別笑話。雖然會做的菜不多,但做飯的時候,就屁顛顛兒的,覺得很樂嗬。年輕的時候,對待愛情就是毫無保留。雖然別人總說“不要對男人太好”,或者“憑啥你做菜,為啥他不做給你吃”,但我隻知道LG對我好,我也要使勁兒對他好。對,就是這個詞,使勁兒,做得不好,但還是使勁兒地做。

-----2004年:LG有個好朋友,叫Chong,是韓國人。他們大學就一塊念,上了班也在一個公司。自從他聽說我會做菜,就一直想來蹭飯。但是都被LG拒了,因為沒有餐桌。後來Chong就送了我們一個韓式的小矮桌,不占地方,又能招待客人。
就是這個小紅桌:

幾乎忘了自己也有過“報紙時期”

有時候喝粥,吃餃子和餅。

還嚐試做sushi,真是有冒險精神啊。

LG當時很喜歡吃油炸的東西,我就經常做春卷和鹽酥雞。

-----2005年:LG搬去一個新的Studio. 條件比以前好,有了冷氣,廚房和廁所也比較新,很幹淨。但是,仍然很小。我們要麽還是在吧台上吃,要麽用小紅桌。(吧台變成大理石的了,因此比以前的吧台要高級,嗬嗬嗬)

這個時期,我慢慢體會到加州的好處。這裏真是什麽都有得賣,比如唐芹,唐蒜,蠶豆。

會做的菜也越來越多了。金沙豆腐,三杯雞,酥皮奶。

LG那時最喜歡我炒的蝦仁,紅燒大排,黃豆鯽魚,

-----2006-07年:LG又搬家了,這次是一室一廳。雖然有了廳,但是放了沙發和書櫃電視櫃,又沒地兒放餐桌了。於是coffe table就變成了我們的餐桌。雖然還是坐在地上盤腿吃飯,但從幾十塊錢的小桌變成ikea上百塊的桌子,我還是很高興的。

開始學做蛋塔之類的點心。

有了陽台,周末就可以烤肉

(上次發碗盤的帖子,為了不違規,加了一個蛋卷的做法,就是這個時期做的。被人評批做得不好。當然不好麽,這是好幾年前啦)

做菜做多了,手腳就利索了。有時候有人來吃飯,我一個多小時就能弄出這麽一小桌來

這麽一大桌~。恩,我自己都覺得當時真有蠻勁啊。。。

試過無數不同的菜譜,LG總結說,我還是燒本幫菜最好吃。

從這兩年開始,我做菜開始注重顏色,樣子了,也開始買好看的碗盤。

-----08年,回國養病,休假一年。

-----09至現在:去年的這個時候,我們有了自己的家。雖然,廚房不大,裝修不豪華,也不現代。

櫥櫃也小,鍋隻能放在外麵。

但是,哇哈哈哈,我終於有地兒放餐桌嘍,可以坐在椅子上吃飯嘍!這是我來美國10年之後,擁有的第一個餐桌咧~。

餐廳雖小,但我已經很滿意很滿意了。

恩,基本上就這樣了。大家覺得這幾年我的廚藝還是有進步的吧?
