There are some tiny noises filling my ears
past midnight keeping me awake
even as cat, kiddo and wife sleeping
way past the curtain drop of another glorious day
Not sure the ringing varieties of sound
are they descending from the moon
shooting stars, comets
or rising up from earthy night Littles
flowers, bugs
or someone I would never have a chance to encounter
except in your dream
