When the age comes
even the viruses are bullying
The body takes much longer
to clear out every one of invaders
Perhaps when the age comes
the body does not even clear out everything
like it used to
Things start to get left over more and more
just like memory which does not harm
Certain little breakdowns don't get repaired
as the younger body could
Imperfection starts to show
yet we still are so proud of our remarkable bodies
to get us so far
