If we went back 30 years
what did I rather do
dare enough to ask you out
when it was such a secret taboo
behind the night
or such a showoff during the day
But we ought to do something
really silly we did not do back then
like wondering along the beach
overnight, covered with moonlight
and immersed with sound of waves
trenching with what we called love now
even just holding hands
and saying nothing to the stars
or each other
happiness is that simple back then
After we have everything
we are still asking for the years back
to simpler and more naive days
Those were pure joys
without rubbish
