美國中學生周記4

       開學進入第四周，這幾天總看到7年級的老二拿著一個麵巾盒進進出出，一問才知道是Social Study 的小項目，這讓我有了深厚的興趣。

項目名稱：Culture Iceberg

學習內容：Culture

具體作法：

1、學習什麽是Iceberg？

2、從學習、研究自身的文化開始，根據冰山現象，分類出顯現文化，看不見的文化。

3、選擇自已文化的6個點（其中要求3個可見的，3個不可見的）,借助Tissue box 貼上，並在課堂做介紹。

4、聽其他同學的presetation, 學習各種文化。

    我覺得這種教學有多種好處：

1、自學：從自己的文化入手，熟悉並且容易表達；

2、學習一種認知方法：冰山現象， 學習用此方法看待文化現象，將來可以舉一反三。

What is an iceberg?

Icebergs are pieces of ice that formed on land and float in an ocean or lake. Icebergs come in all shapes and sizes, from ice-cube-sized chunks to ice islands the size of a small country. The term "iceberg"? refers to chunks of ice larger than 5 meters (16 feet) across. Smaller icebergs, known as bergy bits and growlers, can be especially dangerous for ships because they are harder to spot.

3、動手: 用Tissue box 來操作，便於學習、記憶；

4、表達一次，認識升級（每個人做presentation)

5、從他人處學習，了解多元文化。
