Facebook co-founder says free markets are a myth, U.S. needs new capitalism so everyone can prosper
Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes told CNBC on Wednesday the U.S. needs a new form of capitalism to deliver broader economic prosperity.
Americans from various backgrounds are “throwing out the idea that markets were ever free,” said Hughes, now co-chair of the Economic Security Project.
“Government steps in every time that they come apart,” he said.
