這些名詞均有“宴會”之意。
banquet : 指正式而盛大的宴會或國宴。

feast : 指筵席酒席，有時可與banquet換用，但前者強調共享歡樂的氣氛。

dinner : 普通用詞，含義廣。本義指一日的主餐，但多用於指宴請客人的正式的一餐。
