DREAM IN THREE PARTS
1.
E-motion.
Silky light
fleeing.
Eternal
Frenzy of daily
Passing.
She’s scared
to jump
from anxiety’s height.
She’s crying
climbing down
a high wall.
I want to save
both of them.
Who am I?
A hero
from a different
time?
They both jumped
without my
catch-in-midair.
They are both
heroes.
2.
Beach.
Sharks returned---
grounded---to where
their ancestors were saved.
Gentle mammals
after all.
Cold skin
against scolding sand.
3.
I had to jump
into a boiling caldron
against which
a sexy bikini walking
in sea-blue breeze.
The text is burning,
changing.
My hands wet
from thinking.
Sinking.
How deep
do I have to dive
in order to meet you
face to face?
