前不久Max的學校,請專家專門給他們示範講解、進行安全教育,他拿回來一封信,請家長和孩子在家中進行學習討論。

信中內容如下:

Stranger Awareness

A stranger is someone we do not know.

A stranger can look like anyone; they don’t have to be scary looking.

If a stranger approaches we always take a step back.

If they continue to approach we run.

If a stranger grabs we hell — HELP, STRANGER, and I DON’T KNOW THISPERSON!

We can also kick, bite scratch.

If the stranger is pulling us we drop to the ground and start kickingand yelling.

We never ever go with ANYONE unless our parents have said it was okay, this includes friends, neighbours, etc.

A safe stranger to ask for help is another mom with kids.

Bully Awareness

A bully is someone who picks on other people.

If we don’t want to become a target, we must show confident bodylanguage.

To show you’re confident, look people in the eyes when talking to them, always speak loud and clear, and have proper posture.

There are three types of bullies (Verbal, Physical, and Social)

Remember, these 3 steps against a verbal bully

1) Act serious (Look the bully in the eyes, and walk away confidently, look over your shoulder to see if the bully is following you)

2) Talk serious (Look thebully in the eyes and say “That’s enough”, “I don’t have time for this”, or “Stopit”)

3) Move serious (This timeyour hands come up—open of course, and in a louder voice say, “I said that’senough”)
