Hungary and Poland (3) - Krakow

From Budapest Hungary we took a bus to Krakow Poland since there was no convenient train ride between these two cities that I could find. The bus ride was really cheap, $15/person, 7.5 hours by Flixbus. It was not exactly comfortable. There was no scheduled rest stops along the way. It only stopped at some bus stations to pick up more passengers. So you had to pack your meals and sit on the bus for 7.5 hours!

1. Our apartment just outside of Krakow Old Town.

2. Grunwald Monument next to our apartment.

3. Pierogi (Polish Dumplings) for dinner. There were many fillings to choose from. We had 3 popular ones: Spinach and feta cheese, cabbage with mushrooms, pork with onion. I still think Chinese pork dumplings are the best in the world, but these are pretty good too.

The best thing we did in Krakow was buying the 2 days Krakow Card. It covered a lot of museum entrances and public transportation, but best of all it let us enter Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory any time. Otherwise not only you have to book Schindler's Factory tickets weeks ahead of time, but they were timed entry tickets, so you have to plan your days around the entry time. With Krakow Card, you can just show up at Schindler's Factory and enter, no need to wait in line.
