Peking (Beijing( University received a donation (173.3 million yuan - $21.9 million - nice round numbers) from a Singaporean billionaire. The president signed a donation contract with the daughter of the late banker making the gift from the inheritance fund. The whole scenario reminds me of just how much prestigious universities in China are like their American counterparts.  1.
