70後小時候大多看過電視連續劇《姿三四郎》。講的是柔道(judo)集各流派之長，戰勝傳統柔術(jiu-jitsu)，脫穎而出的故事。劇中的師父，矢野正五郎，就是以柔道創始人,KanoJigoro,為原型。
