UT 今年再也不想做那些 EA，ED IVy， top premium colleges學生的備胎了，所以今年 1.15

所以今年 1.15 UT發 offer非常少，僅僅給那些 UT 認為非常大的可能來的學生發了。

我不知道 UT 依據什麽認為哪些學生就是“很可能”來的學生。有個烙印家長說，UT 是基於這樣一個邏輯：

if:

1. she/he has done lot of extra activities that are related to the field she wants to get in. 
2. She/he doesn't have a super great SAT that she/he can go IVY. 
3. She/he is in the Top 4%
4. Her/His parents economics status doesn't really support her/his doing out of state full tuition with combined household income less than 200k per year 

也聽說 UT今年大量應用 AI/ML 來帥選 UT 認為回來 UT 的學生,  “selected students" then got the offers.

據說 SAT 1450是 UT cut off.

還是據說， 今年 UT收到的 OOS 申請比去年多 35%，所以外州進 UT 更難了。
 

隨著 ED/EA， top colleges 逐步釋放錄取結果，UT 估計會逐步逐步滾動錄取。
