2021 年諾貝爾經濟學獎得主戴維·卡德 (David Card) 於 20 世紀 50 年代出生於加拿大的一個農場，就讀於隻有一間教室的小學校，一名老師負責教授大約 30 名不同年級的學生，他實際上還會關注比自己高幾個年級的學生的大部分教學內容。

David Card, the 2021 Nobel Prize winner in Economics, was born on a farm in Canada in 1950s, and attended a small school that had only one classroom, where a single teacher was responsible for teaching about 30 students from different grades. As a matter of fact he was attentive to most curricula which were several grades above him.
