HMRC網站上就可以找到你要的信息，這個事情跟HOME OFFICE沒有關係， HMRC說的很清楚 you must claim as a couple if you are:
married
a man and woman living together as if you are married
part of civil partnership
a couple living together as if in a civil partnership
you are still a couple even if you are living apart temporarily. For example, one of you is working away from home or you have separated on a trial basis.

所以沒有可能按照單人來申請。 在你填TC600或者其他的TC表時，PERSONAL DETAIL PART1裏麵都有一個問題就是ARE YOU SUBJECT TO IMMIGRATION CONTROL in past three months？ 這個時候你就一定要寫有.其他的HMRC自己就會處理的。
