But I believe most TZLC landlords should be in this "rich people" category since start from 2013, the estate tax examption is reduced to 1M for each person and 2M for a couple. Without trust you may end up paying estate tax on 1M if you have 2M asset.The AB trust can avoid paying estate tax on 2M.
