I had the same problem in my bath room. The plumber told me to apply the liquid wrentch (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Liquid-Wrench-Penetrating-Oil/16816124) everyday. He came one day later, but he still could not take off the faucet. I asked a handy neighbor for help three days later, and he removed the faucet with a monkey wrentch. So I think the liquid wrentch did help, nut just need some time.
