a quesion on the lease contract

We are going to sign a lease with our potential tenants. Hu*****and is working and wife is a stay home mom. Someone told me from this Forum everybody over 18 years old needs to be included in the lease, but does the wife also need to sign the lease? I am a new landlord, so your help is appreciated.
