"如履薄冰" is a very good habit as a businessman,

no matter it is for big money or small money.

It will force you to do more research, investigation and calculation before you take action.

I think pass an investment on a project is better than doing a failure investment because it takes long time to recover from a failure. If you only passed one project that you are not certain, you still have many different opportunities ahead.

I know different people have different philosophy. Some people prefer to invest many and allow few of them fail and let the majority succeed. I don't have that ability to ensure the majority to succeed, so I keep my pocket tight usually unless I am very sure.  

By the way, "八戒" has never been "愚鈍". He eats better, sleeps better and has good relationship with all people. Most importantly, he works less. I believe he can be a very good landlord if he wants to be. Only concern is that he might have some trouble with his female tenants. :)
