The contract is the contract for the house.

When I talked to our loan agent, he said the rate was locked and not subject to change. When I talked to our loan agents, they said I could actually re-do the mortgage without paying a fine before the closing date. For the loan we take, it will be about $40 extra/month....so I am wondering if someone has similar experience.
