Pls help me using peach tree, I'm totally lost...

I have spent several hours infront of PC, not too many progress. How do I input the money we spend for renovation and pay the labor? Should I input anything for Inventory and Service?I jusr set up the Customer and Sales session, is it enough?Thanks so much!!
