Based on my observation, the pressure on Asian boys are greater than girls. I have compared a local high school's college admission data and it's own data for students selection, for boys, the percentile is higher than girls. In the society, you can easily fine the same situation.
I am still thinking this issuesand no conclusion yet. Hower, I have the sense that I should focus more on profession education for my son's future, even I like the LAC way to educate kids. Myself, to some extent, benefited from LAC-style of education.
