Thanks again, Gu-shi! Is Binder the same as Offer Letter?

The document listing agent prepared is a Binder and she didn't mention deposit amount and date at all. Looks like just a paperwork to show to the seller what our offer is. Did I misunderstand it? Thanks for your help!
