Muni bond -- any suggestions?

So this financial adviser told me that there are some municipal bonds that I should consider. According to him, these muni bonds have 2 advantages:

(1): 6-7% return, AAA or AA rating,

(2): the return is tax free.

That sounds awfully attractive. Does anyone have any exerience with muni bonds?
