lender pays loan broker money for selling the loan to you. You pay the lender 6 months interests, lender use that money to pay the broker. So if you refi, broker will not get the money from the lender because you will not pay the lender interests.It has nothing to do with investor. Your broker is trying to scare you so they can get paid.
