如何對待替別人 cosigned debt 的租房申請人

我的申請人有一個10K  的debt沒有在申請表中提及。他後來解釋是他母親的debt,他隻是cosigner.大家怎麽看cosigned debt?是全算到這個申請人上嗎？Even if this is the worst case, that indeed could happen if the primary debt hold can not pay the loan.

請大家幫忙出個主意。謝了！
