Note：

1）Quant 分為 Quant Trader，Quant Researcher，Quant Developer，後者收入比前兩個低一些。

 

2）Prop Shops 靠market making 掙錢，Quant Traders 是這類公司的 bread earners。

Quant hedge funds 用 algorithm 投資股票掙錢，Quant Researchers 是這類公司的 bread earners。

 

3）Quant 的 Base Salary 二十多萬的樣子。

第一年

Base salary + yearly bonus (base salary的100%上下）+ sign-on bonus ($50K-$200K) + relocation bonus 

還有其它的benefits：401K，free meals，free medical premium，home office 就不在這裏說了。

 

第二年會怎麽樣？

Base Salary 變化不大

Yearly Bonus 應該至少Base Salary的100%.

1) 多數Quant第二年的yearly bonus 會超過第一年的yearly bonus + sign-on bonus + relocation bonus，也就是說第二年package大於第一年package

2) 有些Quant第二年的yearly bonus 會低於第一年的yearly bonus + sign-on bonus + relocation bonus，也就是說第二年package小於第一年package。
