波音隕落的根源是MBA當家，而不是工程師當家

最近nVidia黃仁勳的例子，就說明隻有工程師當家，公司才有遠大理想。MBA當家，天天就是看數字，根本不曉得如何製造，如何創新。

波音的問題來自他們2005年的CEO，見下。

2005-2015

On June 30, 2005, Boeing hired McNerney as the chairman, President, and CEO. McNerney oversaw the strategic direction of the Chicago-based aerospace company with a focus on spending controls.^[10]

 

As Boeing's first CEO without a background in aviation, he made the decision to upgrade the 737 series to 737 MAX instead of developing a new model.^[5][11]

這個人是決定把波音製造廠開始從西雅圖搬到南卡。隻有MBA才隻看到工人工資問題，而看不到幾代工人積累起來的institution knoweldge。現在的波音已經不是當年的波音了，總部從西雅圖搬到芝加哥，製造從西雅圖搬到南卡。

CEO 2015-2019

這個人工程師出身，但是出了事做了替罪羊，其實問題都是前任鋪墊的。

Calhoun was born April 18, 1957, in Philadelphia^[5] and grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He attended Parkland High School in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1975. In high school, Calhoun was one of three captains of the varsity basketball team and played golf.^[6] He attended Virginia Tech, graduating in 1979 with a degree in accounting.^[5][6]
