請教各位，車庫地麵有漏水

房客發現出租房車庫地麵有漏水。我們同意 plumber在車庫房頂開了洞。結果他說還需要再在房間裏再開洞。這比較麻煩。房間牆上有wood panel. 下麵是他寫的：

Cut sheet rock in the ceiling and did not see any moister. The leak in in the corner wall where sewer stack drops. Can not cut wall from garage due to sheer wall. will need to access from the interior living room area but there are 4’ wood paneling on the wall that needs to get removed.

 

請問 1. 有沒有什麽修理方法不用在房間裏打洞？2. 一般情況下，修理費用大概範圍？3. 要不要報保險公司？先謝謝了！
