不要另外買warranty. 建議買9年以上warranty的。

We bought a Richmond electric water heater with12-year warranty for one rental over 8 years ago.  When I was checking the condition of the anode rod, and was surprised to find out that the original rod was still good with 50% metal remaining.  Apparently better quality anode rods are used in water heaters with longer warranty.
