Take flight (or train) to Kunming, then overnight train or sleeper bus to Dali (370Km), bus to Lijiang (4 hours). From Lijiang, you may hire a taxi, or join local tour bus to LuGu Lake, or ZhongDian. Do not miss the Tiger Liping Gorge, especially the middle Gorge hiking.
