不解因緣為之愚。魯迅的所謂國民性批判即如此:

First assign some undesirable qualities to a people, consider those qualities original, ready-made, uniquely theirs and fixed, then attack them. This kind of attack offers neither understanding of the past, meaningful analysis for the present nor vision for the future. Instead, it generates self denial and self hatred. It serves nothing but weakening the Will of a people , a nation.  This is not criticism but cursing.

As you can see today, self-hating Chinese typically like to quote Lu Xun，especially those who try to shame Chinese people.
