My apology

I want to apologize to you for my rude message. I didn’t realize it was sent out. After I wrote it, I looked at it and saw how rude it was, and decided to discard it, but I must have inadvertently touched  the ‘send’ button. I am horrified to see that it was not only posted, but you have responded to it, quite nicely. Please do accept my apology. I must say I really liked your post and found it illuminating in a number of ways. My rude message was really not intended. I hope you will forgive me.
