Face it. With the DPP's opposition of everything Ma does,

Taiwan will lose a lot of opportunities.

If DPP takes power later, they may wipe out everything Ma has done.

Taiwan could remain in great persperity under a One-Country Two-System arrangement. With the freedom of choosing Taiwan's own social system, democracy can be continued, and become more effective on the real issues. The fauny issues are dominating the real ones as of now.
