楚楚心曲9：fields of gold黃金之地———往事如風

這首歌從歌詞到音樂宛如一首絕妙的愛情詩歌，那種似氺般柔軟的情調卻有著鋼鐵般堅硬的固執，並強硬地闖入每一個聽者的心底，喚醒了一些沉睡的已經深埋了的東西。



首先它以簡單的白描手段勾畫出一幅絕妙的畫麵：秋天，金黃色的大麥地，纏綿的愛人
；而後有殘忍地暗示：這對戀人將遠離，永不再聚！當西風吹起，思念就在這金黃色的大麥地裏升起，而這種思念永無絕日。

The Police 應該不是我喜歡的樂隊， 除了那首抱走格萊美年代最佳歌曲，蟬聯全美單曲榜8周冠軍的《 every breath you take》外， 它給我的印象就是憤怒。

喜歡Sting是在他離開Police後，可能他隨著年齡的增加，厭倦了樂隊內部無休無止的明爭暗鬥，他的音樂開始變得越加內省，睿智。而他本人就像一個曆經滄桑的高人，臨懸而立，萬裏長風。看他的人和聽他的歌，不由自主地想起“英國氣息”：彬彬有禮的紳士，繁瑣的禮儀，嚴肅的幽默感，固執並充滿悲劇色彩的浪漫愛情，保守和嚴格的理性，甚至多霧的陰天，還有古堡，，，
