Question about Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with

I bought Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract last week and used it sevral times. Then I saw reviews saying although this cleanser can be used everyday it is only recommended for 3-4 times per week. Is this true? If it is the case, then I need to look for another cleanser that can be used twice everyday. I'm 40+, normal/dry skin, and almost never wear makeup. Is Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Shea Butter a good choice? Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help!

By the way, does anyone know if Clarins Friends and Family sale has ended already? I couldn't find it anymore :-(
