北京和東京：忙裏偷閑買的幾樣東西。。

今天一天玩得很好，吃的也很好。可惜很多好看的衣服，穿到自己身上不好看。。等回去後整理一下再發帖。。明天計劃去一些museums and gallleries..

現在把一星期前在北京和東京買的幾樣小東西和大家分享一下。時間很緊，真的是忙裏偷閑。。

With my tight schedule in Beijing and Tokyo, it was close to impossible to indulge in any meaningful shopping spree. The good thing is that I have been trained to make quick buying decisions ever since we had kids that has not left much time for leisurely shopping :-). So I managed to accomplish the mission impossible..

As I mentioned in Part I of my blog "Beijing & Tokyo: A Glimpse Of The Two Cities", I did some window shopping at 燕沙購物商場, not far away from my hotel.

The clothes there are pretty exquisite and fashionable, and the price tag is simply shocking! I tried on two dresses of a domestic brand, and each one was more than RMB6,000. Can you believe that? They looked great, but I had the good sense of not spending $1,000 on a little dress. I am still wondering what kind of clientele this shopping center caters to..

The 冰糖葫蘆at 西單led me to this underground shopping center that seemingly caters to a different clientele than 燕沙購物商場... It was here I bought some nice looking and colorful bags and a bracelet..

RMB10 apiece, can you beat that?

On my last day in Beijing, I took a quick trip to 三裏屯 Village which is supposed to be a happening place.. I did not so much like the styles of the clothes there but did try on one piece at a little store..





I took a pass on the piece.

Now fast forward to Narita Airport.. I could not resist the temptation of this red handbag from a Ferragamo store..

 

 

I have always loved the color red. I had a red Kate Spade bag quite a few years ago and I still love it.. So it took the same flight as I did and went all the way home with me :-)..
