我求蒼天降智慧，西北莫再起爭端。平等自治創共和，保我中華諸多民族永平安。  -上平十四寒

I asked God to share His wisdom with us,

and help  the Northwest make no more fuss.

Staying equal and autonomous and  keeping the peace

will set the minds of all our ethnic groups at ease.
