Police have identified the driver killed when a massive tree fell on his car in Great Falls Tuesday night as Albert Carl Roeth III.

The 64-year-old man, whose hometown was not immediately released, was driving his 2008 Mercedes CL600 southbound on Georgetown Pike around 6:30 p.m. when the tree unexpectedly fell from the right side of the roadway directly onto his car, police said.
