The Free Throw Problem


A basketball player has been keeping up with her career statistics. Before the begining of her senior season, she was hitting less than 80% of her free throws. At the end of her senior season, she was hitting more than 80% of her free throws. Must there be a time during her senior season when she was hitting exactly 80% of her free throws? Prove your claim.
