2011 is a good time to build a home?

one builder told me that 1. the lot is much cheaper than before, he is right, in my area, the lost at least reduce 50%. 2. builder has nothing to do, so they will ask less profits than before. Normally the profit of building a home by builder is about 20-30 % of the house price, but rihgt now the yask less. for example before 2009, they cahrge about $ 120/sf. now they just charge $ 100/sf in my area.

does he tell me truth about building a home now?
