求幫忙翻譯一句話

今天收到一封信有點confuse。

"xxx hospital has received a donation in your honor. Below is the name and address of the donor: xxxx。

We are most grateful for this generous contibution.

xxx hospital"

請問這句話的意思是donor以我的名義made donation了，還是直接給我donate了？這裏的“donor”是我認識的老美，沒聽他提donation的事啊？在找他confirm之前想搞搞清楚這是什麽意思？
